Opening Night Party for Pego Art Exhibition


The Painting for Pleasure Art Group is inviting everyone who loves art to the opening night party of the latest exhibition of their work at the Centre d’Exposicions in Carrer d’Hopital in Pego.

There will be a chance to enjoy a glass of wine and chat to the artists whose work is on show from 5.15 to 7pm on Monday 5 November. The exhibition will run until Saturday 9 November.

“The exhibition will feature a wide variety of work in a range of styles and media by British and Spanish artists,” said Liz Canham, the group’s exhibitions secretary.

“There really is something for everyone who loves art and, as well as paintings, there will be greetings cards and prints for sale. Everyone is welcome to come along to our opening night party and enjoy the paintings with a glass of wine.”


Members of the Painting for Pleasure Art Group put the finishing touches to their artwork ready for the forthcoming exhibition.

This is the latest exhibition by the Painting for Pleasure Art Group which was founded in 2008 and meets every Monday afternoon in Rafol d’Almunia to paint, draw and watch demonstrations of various techniques. New members are always welcome.

The exhibition is on from 5th – 9th November and the opening hours are 10am – 1pm and 5.15 – 7pm.

Artists Mount Exhibition of Paintings in Pego


Everyone who loves art should head to Pego where the Painting for Pleasure Art Group will be staging the latest exhibition of their work from 5th to 9th November.

The exhibition, at the Centre d’Exposicions in Carrer d’Hopital, will feature a wide variety of work in a range of styles and media by British and Spanish artists. As well as paintings there will be greetings cards and prints for sale.

“Everyone is welcome to come along to our opening night party on Monday 5th November,” said Liz Canham, the group’s exhibitions secretary, (pictured front row, centre above). “People will be able to enjoy a glass of wine from 5.15 to 7pm while looking at the diverse range of paintings in the exhibition.

“There really is something for everyone who loves art – from landscapes and portraits to more abstract and contemporary work.”
